We saw him first as an opener for John Prine, then solo (Hayes Carll opened). He could mesmerize a crowd with just a solo guitar and a funny story.

One of the first cancellations! The Dixie Chicks were as Country as the Great Outdoors. Nothing crossover at all in their sound and their career imploded over something that nowadays Trump says every day 🤷♂️

Wild that unsecured debt like cc’s can be securitized. Though it’s not like distressed houses and repo’d cars are easy at scale to recover cash from.

The one thing I miss is the process of going from interacting to mutuals to friends irl. The cesspool results in self-protection which means people’s guards are up, or they filter/block responses. There’s no longer a benefit to socializing on social media.
