UWyoming had already closed its DEI office last year in response to state legislation. A report from a working group the president created to examine DEI at the university offers a great look at administrators trying to figure out what exactly constitutes "DEI."

In 2023, the legislature banned certain DEI activities at public colleges, but exempted
