The fact that HCD approved LA's housing element sites inventory is insane. This thread is a great example of:
1) how utterly broken the housing element process still is, despite a significant amount of effort to improve it
2) Why we just need to do statewide upzoning and be done with it

Let’s take a look at the highest-realistic-capacity sites in LA’s draft list of rezoned Housing Element sites.
I understand the city is working on an updated list, but as it stands, things are not looking great...
