Diorama base finally has a bar coat of paint. Pavement and sidewalk. This has been a shit fight from the get go and it is now my arch enemy. I’ll finish the diorama but this is not up to my standard.

This is a 1/72 scale Mando I printed. Scaled down from a larger sculpt and it held all the detail. I bet there will be people sculpting and printing pilot figures soon, if not already.

I bought a used, manual focus macro lens from the 1960s. Needed a lightweight, small lens for knock around one-handed macro kit. Tested it today. It is PHENOMENAL.
Took it out for a test drive, samples in the thread.

The diorama base now has shape. I’m testing different fillers to see how well each behaves and how well they thin with water. The cardboard in the last photo was replaced by the strips of foam.
