I have been busy, but quiet, for a while. You know, life. The details are pretty mundane but I have been focussed on a lot of personal stuff and I have been slowly making progress on my van. So many of my future plans revolve around the van and what I hope to be able to accomplish with it. More soon

I find myself drawn more and more to moments like this. When I look at historical photographs, the older the photograph the more important the details seem to be because so many of the elements of that moment are gone forever. Every single photograph is history.

Just a simple, SoCal moment.

There is something special to me about the RPM Barona Drags. The combination of the location, the track, the people and the entire experience makes me feel like I’m taking a step back in time. The track is old, rough around the edges and a bit unkempt – but that’s part of what makes it special.

As I was photographing one single fluffy cloud separated from the rest and hovered over the car for just a few moments. I tapped the shutter and thanked the photo gods for their blessing.
