Today we had lunch in a cozy little place called Farm Girl a short walk from the Victoria & Albert Museum. The quote is "The only people for me are the mad ones," which I couldn't quite get in the picture, at least not without shoving the people at the next table, and their table, out of my way.

If you're intrigued by the Whitechapel murders, if you've read any books on Jack the Ripper, @hallierubenhold.bsky.social's THE FIVE is a must read. It will change the way you look at the crimes and the victims. This week I visited the graves/memorial plaques of the five; here's a pic of the fifth.

Maybe only a dozen Star Trek books on the shelf at Waterstone's Piccadilly, but three of my mates made it: @dattico.bsky.social, @unamccormack.bsky.social, and @davidmack.bsky.social. Would liked to have seen many more!
