The Prime Minister credited 36 Months for convincing him to ban teens from social media.

This group accused experts who opposed the ban of being 'bought' by big tech. Meanwhile, it was lining up brand deals, eyeing global expansion & developing an AI tool to track students

i should actually say i think the constant barrage of spam of modern life is underrated as a psychological factor affecting all of us!

there's a big burden having to constantly question if everything is fake or not, and i even suspect it primes people for a pretty ungenerous view of the world
Honestly, it’s a huge problem, especially as you get older. I have a setting where if you’re not in my contacts, you go to VM. I’ll bet 3-4 calls a day go to VM but don’t leave a message.
That doesn’t count the daily half dozen scam text messages…

Age verification was already risky — now it’s downright dangerous.

The federal government wants fewer FOIs.

Crikey wants more. We know filing FOIs can be daunting — so let us do it for you!

For the next few weeks, we're accepting ideas for requests that we'll take, shape, file and then will keep you in the loop when we hear back.

The APS just hates FOI and is trying to use any excuse it can to gut the Act so they can behave like they're in a private for-profit business and not serving the public.
