Someone needs to point out to the DOJ that even if they are reimbursing Trump for his legal fees in regards to Russia/J6/Class. Docs, he didn’t pay all of it himself. Heck, he didn’t even pay most of it himself.

I thought Disney would back Kimmel after they stood up against the Don’t Say Gay bill in Florida.
There was no bill or law, only a threat of pulling their broadcast license. No court would have upheld any action against Disney or any affiliates.

I am boycotting Disney, you should too.

The Trump administration is reneging on the promises that prior administrations made with Afghans that helped not only with translation but also fought alongside our military. Trump is single-handedly making our country’s word mean nothing unless it aligns with the current administration priorities

I completely stand against the current generation of republicans that have no backbone, make lying a profession but when it comes to getting their agenda passed or nominations confirmed they make it happen.
The current democratic leadership did nothing to prevent the rescissions from passing.
July 19, 2025 at 3:45 AM
Here’s an idea:
If the GOP is about truth and transparency why doesn’t James Comer bring Ghislaine Maxwell in before his committee to testify under oath so we can get to the bottom of this matter. Or does the truth only matter when it comes to democrats.

Senate democrats it’s time you start thinking & acting like your counterparts. They’ve taken advantage of ur niceties & broken all norms

I’ve had enough of the so called moderate GOP senators. Collins and Murkowski should be ashamed of themselves. How two representatives of the people who voted against repealing the ACA in 2017 only to vote for this horrible mega bill is baffling. Murkowski’s post vote request is equally baffling.
July 15, 2025 at 8:37 AM
So many voters have justified their vote by saying Trump is a winner & master deal maker. Let’s look at the winning & deals so far:

War in Ukraine - No
Lower grocery prices - No

How bout deals with:

UK - framework is not legally binding
China- call me maybe?

90 deals 90 days yeah right

You may not think that inviting top purchasers of Trump meme coin to dinner is a big deal, but here’s why. No press in attendance. Anyone can spend millions and send a rep to ask for anything lining both their pockets and the Trump’s pockets. No one will know. Not like Trump is a liar

In honor of the Trump family of grifters it’s no longer art of the deal but #ArtoftheSteal

Most people who simply want to use their office for personal enrichment aren’t so bold. Trump to invite top 220 owners of meme coin to dinner.
May 10, 2025 at 6:47 AM
I’m not quite sure why anyone in the administration is celebrating this “trade deal.”

As you can see from the press release the deal isn’t legally binding. Either country can pull out and since Trump is a petulant child I’ll start the over/under at 1 week before Trump says the UK begged and folded

@jenpsaki.msnbc.com I appreciate you answering questions from the “podium”truthfully today. It’s pathetic that the president isn’t a role model for kids. Lying, xenophobia, and racism are normalized.
Children don’t deserve the chaos that’s ongoing. I never thought I’d say that about our country.

Judge Briones is the first to rule on the government’s claim that someone is a gang member and therefore is an alien enemy.
The judge says the claims are based on multiple levels of hearsay with no personal knowledge of what they are swearing

Judge says the government is wasting judicial resources
April 28, 2025 at 4:15 AM
According to the DOJ Justice Manual Section 1-7.610 DOJ personnel including the Attorney General and FBI Director should refrain from releasing an opinion as to a defendant’s guilt as it could prejudice an adjudicative proceeding.

Any new hire of the DOJ understands why but not Bondi or Patel
April 26, 2025 at 2:28 AM
In a hearing today with Judge Hellerstein in SDNY on AEA, a DOJ lawyer stated that due process is a flexible standard.

A flexible standard? Maybe that lawyer should go tell Donald Trump that the next time he commits a crime, his due process rights will be based on that same flexible standard.

I am absolutely disgusted with the complete lack of compassion that this administration has for those facing deportation.

ICE denied the request by Mahmoud Khalil’s lawyers to be temporarily released so that he could witness the birth of his first child.

History will not be kind to this president

Only in Trump’s America would a president say that there are a lot of bad people within the Pentagon. Trump is a draft dodger who doesn’t understand true public service and sacrificing for the US

Karoline Leavitt’s statement about people in the Pentagon working against the SecDef is so wrong
April 22, 2025 at 11:33 PM
If you were hiring a new CEO, would you hire someone that has only managed 20 subordinates and was fired by two previous companies? Would you install that person as the CEO of Google or Apple?

Why are we surprised that the SecDef is acting like an imbecile and endangering our brave men and women.
April 22, 2025 at 11:24 PM
What happens when you put a Fox News weekend host atop the Dept of Defense?

An absolute dumpster fire

I must say though that Jake Tapper more accurately describes the state of affairs

Another Signal chat with his wife, his brother and his personal lawyer. You’d think the lawyer would say I’m out!
a man in a suit and tie is talking about something that was a hot mess inside a dumpster
Alt: Jake Tapper talking about Pete Hegseth who is a hot mess inside a dumpster fire while inside a train wreck.

You really can’t make this up.

In reference to my previous post about Darren Beattie and his belief only competent white men get things done.

Well apparently that doesn’t include SecDef and his obsession with Signal.

Trump Administration is escalating their attack on Harvard over antisemitism on campus

So who’s around Trump?

Darren Beattie at State who believes “Competent white men must be in charge if you want things to work”

Less than 100 days in and they’ve already proven that statement false

The current administration has claimed we’re already winning the tariff trade war.

BUT according to current fiscal year data from Treasury, only $68 billion in tariff receipts and customs duties is currently forecast to be collected

That’s so much we can get rid of the federal income tax, right?
April 20, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Here’s a few things that cost the same as the Local Food Purchase Program:

4 F-35’s

1 yr expenses for office of POTUS

About 15 days of expenses for the legislative branch

Current fiscal year spending is up 10% or $315 billion. We definitely aren’t able to afford to fund local food banks (2/2)
April 20, 2025 at 6:23 PM
The stupidity of the Trump administration is on full display. In the name of government efficiency the USDA canceled the Local Food Purchase Assistance Program, a program that costs $470 million. To put this into perspective, that’s roughly 0.00696% based on the previous fiscal year. (1/2)
