I just backed Nick Craine's book Line Work @Crowdfundr! Nick's a brilliant artist and one of my favourite collaborators! The house is the set for the whole first chapter of Jewel and Dare vs. the House in this Collab with @andrewfoley.bsky.social so I built a basic layout in Blender @blender.org to make a consistent and logical model in my mind and as a reference. 3D is addictive. Must.. avoid... detail.

My dad thinks we are related to Nellie McClung (born a Mooney), the famous suffragette from the Canadian Prairies. She was also a great writer of novels, many of which are available for free on Kindle. This is from Sowing Seeds in Danny. Funny and smart with a strong female protagonist.

The change isn't binary - I used to think one thing, and suddenly now another - it's slow and additive: Learning.
