I skimmed the article but got curious. I don't believe this author has much life experience.

I just can't wrap my head around this magnetic tape nostalgia (cassette, VHS, etc) they jam, degrade, and shred. Vinyl and CDs totally get.

It always feels like the people talking about the magnetic tape only heard about them but never used it regularly to experience the downsides.

At (or adjacent to) a convention? Do people still do this? (This is a joke)

Huh, not often a panel reminds me I actually need to make a will but thanks.

I was reading a Wikipedia article on devils yesterday (as normal people do), and it was oddly striking it's something around 58% (news.gallup.com/poll/508886/...) of the people surveyed do believe in the devil. I would have figured 30%

That's good. I can't think of any series I've seen six times. Nadesico may come the closest to the criteria but only maybe 5 times at most.

What even constitutes a watch in this case? Full series, six times if a movie, six episodes?

Really only have Bad Religion since I kind of have always lived 3+ hours from most venues. Maybe if I can get back to see TMBG without having the flu I can expand my list lol.

Comments like these make me want to go nightshirt and cap next long flight.

I probably could have put various games, books, etc here but I wanted some weird stuff. I also could have put magic tricks because they're so fascinating to me how to develop and perfect.

This show is bad, do not watch. Every time it explores an interesting concept it goes off the rails and fumbles the concept then stumbles into an interesting one then fucks it up. It's mood whiplash. If it'd been consistent it would have been a better show or an actual deconstruction. But...

Hey we finished the 12 episodes now you have to watch a 3x length episode 13 for a plot resolution. My friends are right I am a masochist...

"Recently you haven't been a creep" is an all time tsundere pick up line when dealing with a terrible human being.

Oh sure the show just lucked into the one insightful and interesting plot point in the second to last episode. They'll fuck it up because I think the show isn't good enough to stick this landing.

You may ask yourself, why subject yourself to this? Because I watched two anime I enjoyed in Frieren and Apothecary Diaries season 2. This is to even things out and remind myself that not all anime is good or bad. Like most media a lot of it is mid. I'll watch something good later.
