Since moving to Florida the kid and I have discovered the local library. She’s hit the YA section pretty hard, and I’ve tried out some authors that have been on my “I should read them one day” list.
I picked up Beartown by Blackman. I’m only half way through… but I’m really enjoying it. It’s great.

With the wife and child at my Mother-in-laws house to meet a contractor before she’s moved in.

It occurs to me that I could hide some old sandwich meat under the carpet in her future bedroom. See how long she lives here before she notices…

I just want to throw some love towards the Image Comic’s Adventureman. Matt Fraction, @terrydodsonart.bsky.social, and Rachel Dodson have created one incredibly well written and illustrated books. It’s soooo good.
