Pro tip: I was at a protest at an immigration facility here in SF and protestors blocked a Waymo from proceeding with a cone and also from backing up. Since there was no driver to clear the cones, the car blocked the street.

Why do I get the feeling that this project will run out of money and we taxpayers will be forced to pick up the tab? And that Republicans will say nothing about the extra expenses.

Well, here in San Francisco they successfully dodge other cars, busses, trollys, cablecars, bikes, e-scooters, skateboarders, drunks, meth and fentanyl zombies, and lost tourists...all while climbing over ridiculously steep hills, so, might be ok elsewhere.

They are EVERYWHERE here in San Francisco. One point: women feel a lot safer in them than if there's a guy driving a taxi, Uber, Lyft...especially at night.
