I offer two of our foster baby bunnies from last year. One decided to sleep upside down because why not.

Saw this in traffic the other day. You don't see many old Suburbans anymore (at least around here). The bumper sticker really sells it.

Out at dinner tonight, a red #Chevy Cavalier convertible drove past. I haven't seen one of these in a long time.

Some sights from my local Cars & Coffee this past weekend: a Subaru mini truck. I forgot the name, it was on the back of it. Someone here will know.

Was out at dinner last night and some brave soul drove up in this Fisker Ocean. I cannot imagine what it must be like to own a dead car. Had I seen the owner I would have had so many questions.

Great to see she's on the road to recovery! ❤️

She reminds me of our fosters from last year. They came to us at 4 weeks old and were the absolute sweetest. We named them Lilly, Daisy, and Violet.

Looks like a bit of rain in the area. Maybe it'll pass before the race?

A day later, we had to say our goodbyes to our little Jack.
Two years later and it still brings tears to my eyes writing this, but I know that for at least the several months he was with us, Jack was able to experience being loved and pampered. I just wish it could have been for a lot longer. /7

Jack stayed with us for several more months. One day he stopped eating – very problematic for rabbits. We took him to a local specialist, and they ran all sorts of tests on him. They had found that Jacks cancer was everywhere. His lungs, his esophagus, his heart, everywhere. /6

Two months later, Jacks eyes had not made progress, and it was determined that he was not going to be able to see. Otherwise, he seemed to be healthy. Jack went back to the SPCA to get neutered and put up for adoption (always a very sad day for us foster parents). /4

After a couple of weeks, Jack was much stronger and able to bathe himself. We also discovered that he was a complete love bug. Jack absolutely LOVED getting pets. There was nothing better in the world for him. /3

When Jack came to us for fostering, he could not see at all, we were pretty sure he could not hear well, he was extremely malnourished and could not bathe himself. We nursed him back to health, gave him daily eyedrops to help his eyes, and gave him every single drop of love possible. /2
