Couldn’t agree more. Politicians need to speak out instead of having their own interests at heart. It’s literally not the job of pop stars or actors to galvanise voters. Cool if they want to, but I’d never expect it. Ever.

If I had all of the facts surrounding why she doesn’t speak out anymore then yes, I’d make an informed judgement. But I don’t. So I don’t feel it’s fair to. Not because she’s a pop star or someone who’s music I like, but because she’s a human. I wasn’t judging, I was pointing out a fact.

Which might be a personal choice of hers (and frankly given how some “fans” talk about her I’d protect my peace too) or it could stem from security risks. THAT was my point. You can choose to support her decision/actions or not. My stance: not enough info. So I’ll support until then. Bye!

I never said I disagree. I said not one of us understands the pressures and risks her or her team face, and to call her or them out isn’t super fair. If we had every ounce of information I might feel differently, but we don’t, and probably never will.

She spoke in her London post. I’m not saying her team got everything right, but would you under such circumstances? We understand less than 5% of what it’s like to be her or her team, so to target her for not doing exactly as some of us wish is, imo, just ignorant.

The specific threat was dealt with, yes. Other credible threats towards her will be ongoing, and her team won’t divulge those to fans. The threat was towards her and us, not Vienna. I know it’s an incredibly safe city. When you don’t work with security every day it’s easy to have such ignorant views

I think it’s probably a lot more nuanced than we realise. She’s a much bigger figure than she was in 2019 and her team might now advise against things more stringently. Just look at Vienna. The reality we’ll never really know, so I’m not sure it’s fair to judge.

I love it! I was super impressed by the 787 and its fancy windows. I’ve only flown Delta once and I couldn’t tell you what type of plane it was but I do remember enjoying the service ☺️

It happens when the landing gear retracts into the plane as well, and the emergency lights go off. I’ve worked on both. Vastly prefer airbus ☺️

Fun fact about airbus that freaked me out the first time I flew on one because I didn’t know - when the landing gear comes down for landing it makes a “bing” noise and all of the emergency exit lights illuminate. 😬
