Notice reading: CCTV everywhere. We’re forced to do this because of CONSTANT THEFT 1 the SILVER CHALICE from our CHAPEL 2 our finest 4000 STONE AXE wonderfully carved 3 a pair of 250 year old Meissen plates (taken from a locked cabinet) 4 a 200 year old WHALE’S TOOTH cleverly engraved with scenes of ships and seas 5 etc the POLICE know but… 6 our WITCH Will, pathetic to say, curse their lived so I really do wish they would bring our loved pieces home to us. The capital letters are an integral part of the original notice!

I've spent most of the afternoon in the garden alternating between trying to do useful things and overheating so sitting in the shade with an Agatha Christie. The shady activity is recommended and now I have wine.

Appletiser because I’m at my parents for Reasons. Could do with something stronger tbh but last time I tried some of the wine in the house it had gone very off so am reluctant to try again. Maybe a walk to the shop…
