Achievement Thursday. Today I managed to install a new central heating control thermostat, including wiring, & disconnected the old one. Note to self - next time do it while it's still daylight as the power had to be turned off. The only swearing involved was because was hardly any space to work.

I sell on Etsy from the UK. They sent out an e-mail today saying that they can't provide online postage for the USA any more because their system doesn't handle tariffs. This is because other delivery services like Royal Mail can't handle tariffs. That's another market gone. BREXIT killed the EU off

This is positive:

The 75 cycle path goes from Glasgow to Edinburgh. Some of it is on roads. However I can go aroun 11-12 miles east or west from Bathgate without going on a road. West map is from Bathgate to Caldercruix. East map is from Bathgate to East Calder, also goes through Almondell Country Park.

I despair.

An unexpected encounter with wildlife today. A short walk from the house I grew up in. I have never seen deer there before.

I had a similar experience with my granny years ago when I tried to find out whta the recipe was for clootie dumpling. I gave up. I still don't know.
