We send our condolences to the loved ones of the three people who lost their lives in the tragic incident near Riedlingen, Germany, yesterday.
Our thoughts are with our union siblings in the the German train drivers' union, the GDL. Their member was among those who so sadly died.

Am 27. Januar 1945 - also vor 80 Jahren - wurde das Konzentrations- und Vernichtungslager Auschwitz-Birkenau befreit. Immer weniger Zeitzeugen können von den Erlebnissen berichten. Umso wichtiger ist es, immer wieder an die Gräuel des Naziregimes zu erinnern.
