Several district courts and now an appellate court have ruled mulitple Trump Administration US Attorney appointments unlawful. This week's Justice Briefs briefly looks at past challenges to US Attorney appointments and how they compare to the Trump Administration.

Canceling Appointments
When a South Carolina federal judge ruled that Lindsey Halligan was not the lawfully appointed US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, it was the latest decision to cancel an appointment.
