Well, I contracted Covid at my place of employment on Friday. Confirmed positive on Saturday, only after visiting my elderly sister, who tested positive on Tuesday and was hospitalized. I stayed with her all night. She got released on Christmas Day. We are isolating together. Both on Paxlovid. 😕

After the past 14 years, from the Tea Party to MAGA, I feel that the conservative half of our country is beyond compromise or reason or hope. They continue to move further to the right with every election. For me, I cannot communicate with “the other side”. I believe in a “two nation” solution.
