A cool, windy November 5th, and there were two Meadowhawk dragonflies flitting about and warming themselves in the sun.

I don't recall seeing dragonflies this late.

Heads up #BikeHFX , the BLT is closed after the Cranberry Lake Bridge for trail repairs. It looks as though they are grading it and fixing the potholes along that section

Good news, #BikeHFX, the COLT edges have been mowed, so the knotweed isn't blocking the trail anymore. I rode out to do some cutting myself, and lo and behold, it was already done

As expected, the Royal Mile was a zoo today, with loads of tour groups milling about, so we visited the National Museum early to get out of the rain, then made our way away from the tourist zone to get a view of the castle.
