They’re*

Fucking bizarre. My doctor can’t stop taking my blood for whatever reason he sees fit. They asked for specialised blood tests and where they sent me couldn’t take them, had go to a specific hospital miles away, just to find out…I’m fine. There’s asking for two more bloods currently.

Looks like something I’d have to fight in a From Software Cyberpunk game.

Perhaps but both the guitar and the fountain pen existed before the years on this list, there may be others but I’m not familiar with them all regarding their invention and history. There’s a Martin guitar around still today that predates 1886, the fountain pen also predates 1890 by a long time.

Famously no mass murder in the US before video games.

And he was referring to Hilda Griffith who was struck and killed not a cyclist who fell off their own bike.

You said only one of them caused deaths. And he showed that to be untrue. How about Charlie Alliston?

Obviously cars are far more dangerous but what you said was simply incorrect whatever the figures are.

You can guarantee he’s into some filthy shit and is just doing this out of shame.

Lots of those old games had glitches too, some even prevented you from completing the game.

No assembly required.

Yeah but Goldeneye was better than any shooter they’re playing today.

Discovering From Sofware games was a revelation for me though. Bloodborne will likely always be the greatest gaming experience I’ll ever have.

Agreed.

If they don’t change course, four years from now we’re seriously looking at a party like reform winning the election. We had 14 years of shite Tory rule and we now have Tory lite nonsense. I don’t think there’s any party on the left who can stand up to reform and their empty promises.
February 2, 2025 at 10:10 AM
I couldn’t agree more.

I feel a bit of a fool tbh as I thought their attempt to lure centre right tories was a political game to win the election, but they’re turning out to be everything I argued they wouldn’t be.

Hello, sweetheart. 🥰
February 2, 2025 at 9:56 AM
I’m ranting now, sorry, but we came out of world war 2 essentially bankrupt and built the NHS.

Investing in the country and building needed infrastructure doesn’t go nowhere it creates jobs and that money goes back into the economy. I have no idea what Starmer’s Labour are about anymore.
February 2, 2025 at 9:16 AM
They seem to be trying to tap into the Tory/reform voter rather than building and spending money where it’s needed. I’ve always voted Labour but unless there’s serious change from where they are now I don’t think I’ll do so again, it won’t be for reform though who are even worse.
February 2, 2025 at 9:01 AM
People see their day to day lives getting worse by every metric and no one seems to be doing anything to make this situation better. I don’t think reform is the answer but it’s easy to see why many people do unfortunately. Lots of communities need serious investment and labour should be doing it.
February 2, 2025 at 8:59 AM
You’re right, but you need to ask why?

We’re having so much immigration but no one is building the infrastructure to support these larger populations in these constituencies. Why would people just go along with that? Labour are in power now but aren’t doing anything about it.
February 2, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Bad faith being that you’re just wrong?

🤦🏻‍♂️

When did England stop being part of Europe?
February 1, 2025 at 8:45 PM
I’ll check it out, I’m halfway through another book someone mentioned in that thread that I hadn’t heard of; The Ministry of Time and it’s great.
February 1, 2025 at 9:25 AM
I read Dark Matter recently, more alternate realities than time travel but it was okay.
February 1, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Is this some kind of joke? Are do you just lack that much self awareness?
February 1, 2025 at 1:39 AM
I imagine some of the other 22% are not sure/don’t know rather than just for it.

Oh well.
