On a NUFC transfer saga note: if there was ever any doubt that the biggest transfer accounts are on the payroll of the ‘big clubs’ just read the last sentence below. Why do they want to push that angle if not purely because they’ve been asked by LFC. Just a weird thing to put in there otherwise

I’d be _ok_ with £30m, but anymore with only a year on his deal and him turning 29 in September and its a bit rich for me.
However you can’t argue with his record, and would free up money for other positions if Spurs don’t come in and we get gazumped again
