Prompting an LLM takes thoughtful work of the kind many people do not have patience for. Reviewing the results takes skill. The kind of thinking work great engineers do. I do not see LLM’s displacing good engineers any time soon. #softwaredev #ai #llm

There were very few “experienced” AI professionals up until recently. With thousands of startups and corps how many of these are staffed by experienced staff vs. paper tigers #Dunning-Kruger

CyberSecurity skills in hyperscaler Cloud environments (both offensive and defensive). An interesting domain with more jobs than candidates. With the over supply of developers to available roles right now, plus the advancement of AI, this is an area I’d personally diversify into. #dev

There’s always been cyclical demand for high paying SW engineering/development jobs. I’ve never seen that in traditional IT infrastructure roles where demand is acyclical. There always seems to be steady pipeline for networking, storage etc skills regardless of economic cycles. 1/2

I’m planning to use Dash for a real-time data analytics UI built using Python. I need WebSockets support and it should be robust enough for Production grade deployment. Anyone think Streamlit or another framework would be better? #dev #python
