After reading Under the Banner of Heaven I definitely had a different view of Mormonism. Golden tablets on a mountain in New York was simply the retelling of biblical stories. Not more or less batshit just more recent.

I want to solve problems that exist today regardless of root causes. There are many battles to wage and they are not mutually exclusive or exist on the same timeline. Doing one does not preclude any others.

In one sense yes. But fundamentally I want to get three properties that are slowly deteriorating back into use. And property sales have decimated local rental options so we need workforce housing.

It’s the general question, if the town gets needed workforce housing, is TIF utilization a good trade off. We don’t get the tax dollars now as the properties are assessed at very limited value.
