We also need NATO more than they need us right now. A lot of the intel we get that helps stop terrorist attacks etc comes from NATO intel not to mention the airbases etc we enjoy in Europe for faster response.

The problem is Latinos, Immigrants, LGBTQ, Women will take the brunt of it. Ukraine will hate the US and we could see radical groups there or come out of there. if Trump turns Israel lose like he plans we will see increased attacks from radical groups allied with Hamas and Hezbollah.

I think we will see a lot of buyers remorse soon. Mass deportations hurt the economy, Trump's economic plan will drive up prices. A lot of his agenda reads like Germany's in the 1930's

I have a guy on my news channel team who loves to review exit polling data and polling data. He said a lot of Latinos voted based on the economy as well. They saw Trump as the lesser of two evils and did not think he would follow through on deportations as it would cost too much.

A lot of those are my friends from X lol I am not sure what to do here as on X I spent most of my time fact checking the MAGA misinformation accounts with real facts.

I replied from the wrong account so fixing it.
These choices are scary but there is a silver lining. If he appoints enough senators to cabinet positions there will be special elections and if Democrats play it smart they can retake the Senate before Trump has much time in office.

I think right now the focus should be changing enough minds to take back Congress in 2026 to stop Trump from doing more damage and maybe reversing some of the damage he is able to do in the next 2 years.
