Anyway, if you need an old clock repaired, Jim Ahmed at Clockworks in Richmond is your guy.

I think this is my first public endorsement of a brick-and-mortar establishment.

Anyway, this happened in the move to Richmond.

The clock is dear to me, so I brought it to a clock repair person here. About 70 years old, amazing national reputation, Pakistani. His establishment is... cramped. Literally room for two people, and a thousand thousand clock parts.

When my grandpa died last year at nearly 104, he left me this mantel clock. He kept it wound, and in meticulous shape. The thing is stone—extremely heavy.

He got it from a friend in the '60s, who got it from some television personality a few decades earlier. Apparently it's 19th century French.

I'm excited by the theme, encouraging philosophical reflection. Organizers ask not just how sources influence network thinking, but how network thinking influences how we see sources. It'll be a fun conversation.
