If im Collins im pretty happy with this poll.

Just to be clear, the ACA was a Dem plan that Republicans opposed. Reps have offered nothing (unless you include Mitt Romney in MA). The reality is that if Dems offered a solution, Reps would either kill it, or put up billboards taking credit for it. SMH.

I think the better strategy is Mills'. It reinforces her leadership and willingness to go head to head with bullies to benefit Mainers. She has a good position staked out (versus the others who can be quite fickle and willing to change their loyalty on a whim).

Collins uses here money effectively. I have seen first-hand the research they do on how to subtly influence voters who might be on-the-fence. They chip away at those margins and it equates to votes. Whomever runs against her will need to be highly strategic and, in my view, very aggressive.

His biggest issue is how incredibly weak he looked in media appearances. He looked and sounded pathetic.
November 15, 2025 at 9:12 PM
So overrated. No ethics and should be shelved to make room for actual journalists

Thats one punchable face.

Our household had a pantry full of the generic products and a storage room filled with products from the annual "Shurfine sale"

Agreed. He just ruined the family brand, regardless of how much his son might differ (which, I suspect, probably isn't much). They can all jump in that RV and drive away and leave Maine in the rearview mirror.

Between her weak response and the absolute fecklessness of King, I might wash the Tums down with some bourbon. This is the stuff that drives me insane: Angus King: "Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work."
November 10, 2025 at 2:11 PM
No, he shouldn't go home. He should hop in that RV of his and just keep driving south until he sees the Florida state line.
November 10, 2025 at 1:54 PM
No, he won't, but he should. Someone this openly feckless should not be representing the people of Maine. Angus King: "Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work." To quote Gavin Newsom: "pathetic."

Spoken like a true loser.
November 10, 2025 at 1:39 PM
As I've said before, he's too self unaware to realize how much he gets played. He thinks he's a genius, when the reality shows over and over how impotent he truly is.
November 10, 2025 at 12:39 PM
This is BS theater. Our premiums are going to skyrocket regardless. The Republicans see this as their opportunity to get rid of the ACA. King will declare a 75% increase in premiums a victory. Thus is his legacy and will impact his son.
November 10, 2025 at 12:01 PM
He's so self unaware he thinks he's playing multidimensional chess when the reality is he is constantly getting played.
November 10, 2025 at 5:01 AM
Coward GFY.
November 10, 2025 at 4:55 AM
GFY. You sold us out you coward. The stench of this vote is your legacy.
November 10, 2025 at 3:44 AM
I did but he doesn't care. My premiums have doubled for what is essentially catastrophic coverage. King and Collins are both worthless.
November 10, 2025 at 3:36 AM
How did we end up with 2 of the most spineless senators? The stench of this will follow he and his son.
November 10, 2025 at 2:33 AM
I'm not buying it. Call me cynical, but I just don't buy all this. I think it was the simple fact that he was shedding Dem support at a brisk pace and knew that he would probably not get past the primary.
November 7, 2025 at 8:46 PM
I'm now a bit worried about the CD2 election. I just can't imagine having LePage represent us. The Golden thing has me a bit baffled, as I feel like there's more to it than what he said.
November 7, 2025 at 8:43 PM
My premiums have almost tripled for a plan that's basically catastrophic coverage. I've contacted her office repeatedly just to voice my opinion. She simply doesn't care.

Same. We buy candy for kids who never show up so I can't let it go to waste
