Unbelievable … hey, What happens to the draft Seattle comp plan if Wilson gets elected? Can she revise the plan further and put some of the removed neighborhood centers back in it?

When the city makes pro-car, anti-transit changes, outreach, studies, and any process seem expendable.

I love Seattle too. But do you really love the library main branch design? Felt like it was out of date the day it opened. Looks like what they thought was futuristic in the early 1980s. To each their own I guess

Where do the sounders rank on finishing in mls? Are they good, middle of the road or poor finishing their chances? My perspective may just be skewed by starting the weekends watching the big four European leagues where the technical skill and precision finishing is as good as it gets

You’ve been in Seattle awhile. You should know how this works!

Because the Rijksmuseum has been taken, I’ll go with Bishops bridge in the gothic quarter, Barcelona

Sound transit and the metros for all three countries need to reset and reorganize. Generational opportunity. Personally I think they should merge and consolidate so they coordinate all services better.

At risk of stating the obvious, There are a lot more significant problems with our nation’s food supply and nutrition than orange juice.

The Cross Kirkland corridor trail. I use it for recreation (walking, running and biking) and occasionally commuting

This is the most UN report I’ve ever seen reporting on!

Translation: we’re not signing anybody who will make an immediate impact this summer … again

Hard not to look at that and wonder what might have been if we’d gotten the green space we were promised. On the plus side, pier 58 was packed this afternoon for its opening

Supporters shield was the supposed justification by mls. Let’s face it, mls just made that up because Miami has Messi.
June 24, 2025 at 6:59 PM
And Miami didn’t even earn the right to be in the club cup in the first place
June 24, 2025 at 3:10 AM
The ticket rollout for the Fifa club World Cup has been a disaster.

And it seems like results have been mixed. Which two games did we have four?
May 16, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Good to hear on Ragen. Do you have any data to compare how the defense performs with 3 in the back versus 4? Seems like every time we try to go with 3, there are problems with organization and passing out of the back

What if cities simply allows more housing to be built? Sure seems like the more cost effective way to add more people and businesses
May 9, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Yeah, I know you were. there is no justification on the sporting side. Like with Miami and Messi, it’s just about getting more attention on the event, setting aside the lame supporters shield justification
May 8, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Because these teams are in the largest and third largest cities in North America
May 7, 2025 at 4:27 AM
As much as I support transit there’s been one generational mistake after another building out our light rail system, this being the latest. Sound transit needs to be completely restructured

This is not just a great example for city planners, but also for big box retailers looking to maximize their real estate. Safeway has been doing this to great effect in Seattle, building large residential buildings on store footprints. They get money for development and have lots of customers
