I’m an oil painter and multi-media artist creating expressive and vibrant oil paintings. I earned my BFA from Pacific Lutheran University (‘00) and pursued formal arts training at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia (‘01)
The fourth annual Edmonds & Beyond Plein Air Paint Out, presented by Cole Gallery, opens today with a reception and awards ceremony from 5:00-7:00pm this evening. The public (hey, that’s you!) is invited to join.

TONIGHT Art Walk Edmonds from 5-8. Be sure to visit Graphite Arts Center to view two of my paintings hanging in my studio space. Graphite’s located just a couple blocks up from the ferry dock at 202 Main St.

We had some phenomenally good weather for the Edmonds Arts Festival and Studio tour preview this past weekend. Of the forty artists on the Edmonds Art Studio Tour (Sept 20-21) twenty-one participated in the preview, creating a fun and engaging environment.

I had a great debut at the 2025 Seattle Erotic Art Festival. Fun times at the opening and closing and a few paintings sold. I wish I’d planned a bit better and attended on Saturday when there are far more exhibits and live events scheduled. Next year…
