Me: Yes? How did you think it was pronounced?
Him: Hoda "Cobb", I thought the T was silent.

As a #dialect coach I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this. I don't think it takes away from #AdrianBrody's stellar performance (in a movie that I frankly didn't love). But this quote sticks out to me:

An interesting thought experiment where someone tries to reduce every English word to one syllable. In his exploration, he covers some really fascinating linguistic principles. My dialect and accent fanatics might find much of it very interesting! #languages #dialects #accents #actors
