I haven’t read this, it doesn’t surprise me that the level and nature of biases would vary across groups. I’m not a defender of implicit bias training, as I think it’s too simplistic. I am more in favor of designing systems that get around the natural tendency for people to favor their own group.

Wouldn’t this be true for any group? Implicit biases cause any of us looking at data to then ignore data which disagrees with what we already believe.

Not a new problem either though certainly more extreme now. My solution would be create a body to review court decisions with members randomly selected from people knowledgeable about the law.

I read the order as those with those conditions are the result of unhealthy food and other causes, not as being a threat. Sadly their actions such as laying off EPA staff will only make things worse, and quackery will be ineffective to stem the decrease in American Life expectancy.

As with the best simplifications their is a grain of truth. Some GMO's convey immunity to a pesticide such as Glyphosate. Thus the farmer can use a lot of it to kill weeds that have become resistant to it. The end result being more pesticide used. To call it a conspiracy though goes to far.

I was reading some fiction about a 10 year old who escapes from a slave camp underground, his first experiences on the surface. "Nameless Sovereign" By Nameless Author.
