A weird thing about having tinnitus and hearing damage is that I occasionally hear things that aren’t there. Or I won’t properly hear someone.
Today in a busy loud restaurant I thought I was hearing Living on a prayer. But nope photograph by def leopard. Totally embarrassing

I was lost in thought at the grocery store.
When a woman startled me to ask what one of my tattoos was.
I answered briefly “it’s from Star Wars”
She walks off mumbling “didn’t think you’d be mad”
Sorry I was lost in thought then startled next time I’ll say yay and jump up and down.

I've hit that point where I'm trying to write a talk and an abstract and my brain keeps branching into the unknown.
Example:
What if the talk is accepted for a 15 minute time slot it'll need to be short and informative. But if it gets a 30 minute slot you'll need more content without being boring.
