One thing I’ve made an effort to do is when having a language picker to put that language, in its own language. English, Français, Español, Deutsch, etc. I don’t know why the web hasn’t been standardized like that.

There have been 25 years of products that claim to be the solution of visual editors for the web. When you look at the output and it’s terrible or convoluted, you lose trust in the project. Locking into vendor classes, or inlining all styles are examples of not trusting their output.

London ON Municipal did ranked voting once (before provincial conservatives banned it) and it resulted in a conservative mayor. BUT it felt transparent and fair, so it wasn't anger about vote splitting or strategic voting causing the unwanted result.

I used Digg through all the iterations, I even still liked their moderated news aggregator attempt. But if they can take everything they learned and make reddit/Digg feel like 2010 again, just like bluesky did for twitter. I’m so in.

It is funny that this has basically been my job description for over a decade, and I've had all the other various titles in that time. I've also had the title Audio Engineer without an official engineering degree, I guess Design Engineer without the credentials shouldn't be a big deal either.

I just want to thank you for your use of cartograms on this game, as well as your maps sections. I wish more news organizations would use them rather than the "land doesn't vote" maps that are everywhere around election time.

It's funny that since Logitech bought Blue Microphones, they're lumped in with peripheral manufacturers. But the Blue Bottle was a high end $5k mic, and the Yeti was just them going cheap.
