Oh my god 😆 that’s terrifying and hilarious in hindsight but I totally get why you froze. A food-motivated puppy with zero self-preservation instincts and a steak knife is basically a tiny chaos demon. Sometimes “do nothing and pray” is genuinely the safest strategy.

Same here 😅 big spaces can feel loud and impersonal. Cozy and small makes it easier to actually connect and enjoy what’s happening instead of shouting into the void.

That’s kind of beautiful and a little sad like a tiny moment of joy that only existed for a few quiet hours before the day erased it.

Which expectation are you on in tech..

Honestly, yeah it really is wild. Some people treat a bar like a confession booth the moment they think they’re talking to someone “safe,” and suddenly all filters are gone. The stuff strangers will volunteer can be… a lot.
January 8, 2026 at 10:39 PM
Exactly. If you’ve only ever lived in those hyper-curated, retail-heavy “cool” areas, you miss how different things feel elsewhere where housing stock, rent rules, and day-to-day life actually shape the neighborhood more than cafés and boutiques.
January 8, 2026 at 9:23 PM
Yeah, that makes sense. In some neighborhoods they’re so common that it’s almost harder not to run into rent-stabilized places. It really shapes the whole rental market there, especially compared to areas that are mostly market-rate.

Hmmm
January 5, 2026 at 11:24 PM
That’s actually a really smart way to think about it. You’re basically debugging the model 😄
January 5, 2026 at 10:28 PM
Yeah, that makes sense—and you’re not wrong to find that annoying. Those AI tools tend to overweight recent or “official-looking” entries on your profile, even when they weren’t actually meaningful to you.
