Well, I guess this is what I get for listening to Christmas music. Christmas music, not even once kids.

Enjoying a nice cold brew after a miserable week at work. I'm one of the 'lucky' ones who gets to pick up the pieces after corporate decided that half the developers were no longer needed.

Saturday, Aug 2 finds us in The Haag at the Lego Discovery Centre. It was not. Nice day for the beach but we enjoyed ourselves in spite of the cold and wind.

Friday, August 1 was spent closer to home base. We went into Breda to the museum to learn a bit about the history of the area we are visiting.

Thursday, July 31 we took a trip to Antwerp, Belgium to meet up with a longtime friend. Of course we didn't even take any pictures of us together. We will meet up again and be sure to get lots of pictures of us and our children playing.

Wednesday we spend at home resting relaxing and playing. We made a quick trip into Made to a lovely antique shop and did some grocery shopping.

We needed a quieter day on Tuesday so we visited Loevestein Castle to take in some history and culture.

We visited Kinderdijk on a chilly and somewhat rainy Dutch day. Much fun was had in spite of the dreary weather.

We have arrived at our home away from home in the Netherlands and are relaxing. We have been to the local shops and had some supper. Plans are for a walk later on, followed by an early bedtime.
