When I was growing up in the early 90s, my grandmother strongly believed that an older Blue Book paired perfectly with a copy of Lewis McArthur’s Oregon Geographic Names for holiday giving (I think she gifted multiple editions to me in diff years). The sweaters are gone but the books remain

Appreciate your coverage (and the link to this story). I’m a lawyer in Oregon and I had my first experience last month of another lawyer (a prominent partner in a law firm no less!) passing off AI slop as governing law to a judge. I spent hours checking to be sure before I called him out. Maddening!
