An especially cold and snowy period has brought a few rare visitors to my Highland Perthshire feeder.
Looks to me like a Nuthatch but my pocket guide says not in Scotland. Very aggressively chasing the other birds away

We've had a pair of woodpeckers for a few years now. Always land at the bottom and climb up to the feeder. They bring offspring in the summertime.
