There's likely $2.5T-$3.5T sitting on the table today looking to fund bankable projects that are fully derisked. The limiting factor is the funding gap to finance moving projects that are qualified but not yet bankable to construction capital ready at their final investment decision point & bankable

It's sadly mainly still about finding the sufficient risk tolerant money so we can deploy the projects. It's so hard to find LP's with liquidity and sufficient check sizes.

Impact finance struggles between grant making efforts, which are crumbs to address feeding an elephant, and zero risk capital in the sustainable bonds markets, but these are all starved of investable opportunities to drive impact and return expectations. I think planning doesn't know what's possible

Don't believe for a second that you can just drop a nuclear reactor or SMR anywhere. The water requirements, cooling needs, setbacks, road work, staff and training for operational capabilities, power grid upgrades, fire department investments, etc. The list goes on.
