Lost this year -- the two prior were both 16 though, and died from expected age-related conditions; but I've been spoiled with cat karma and had them usually live into the early or mid 20s.

First cat made it thru surgery; had to have a chin reconstruction after they removed the (hopefully not cancerous) growth.

I think the thing I'll remember the most about Inara is how much she loved being sung to.
She'd always come running when I sang somewhere, hop up onto a near by surface and cock her head.
If I stopped she'd give her head a confused tilt, and reach out and pat me as if to say, "no no, keep going."

Inara passed in my arms this morning at 8:50, after a long struggle with her thyroid. We'd hoped she'd turned a corner friday, but we think the thyroid might have been the only thing keeping her going and once the meds regulated it, she went into shock. 2010-2025 <3

Civ 7 first thoughts:
I don't hate it, but they've taken too much inspiration from Humankind, which I really didn't like, and I can't imagine playing this game, in its current state, over Civ 6.

Civ 7 first thoughts:
