interesting that most of the major american tv networks have essentially had the same logo since at least the 60s. nbc, on the other hand, has only had their current 6-plume peacock since the late 80s, going through a lot of different ones leading up to it

so i knew john williams composed an entire 4-movement suite for nbc (some of which is still used on nbc nightly, meet the press, and special reports) but i didn't know he did nbc sports too??? explains why its so star wars-y
