I will say I found the movement system incredibly satisfying to master, despite my other misgivings about the game I think TC absolutely nailed it, it was incredibly gratifying learning to master the diagonal pogo through the game

The first one I absolutely recommend- it is difficult, but not tedious or nearly as frustrating as I found Silksong. The original's world is inspiring and beautiful to explore, where much of Silksong's is just depressing and oppresive

the game is too difficult- not in the sense that it's hard, but in the sense that it's boring; you get sent back to the starts of areas for minor mistakes that are unavoidable to the average player. it's cathartic, yes, but I would absolutely not recommend it to most people

I have such mixed feelings about this game- such incredible highs and absolutely awful lows, a beautiful world and great combat system bogged down with tedious, artificial difficulty, I do not think I will ever play it again, but I am itching to run through the cosiness of the original after it

Cogwork Dancers were awesome, I wish the game was more of this and less random enemy gauntlets

still thinking about 'RB - Parry'

I think Lace 1 and Phantom are up there as my favourite bosses, the 'fencing duel' style of bossfight feels so good for hornet, whereas some of the others feel pretty clunky i'll be honest
