Look I’m just tired. We all are. I’m a pediatric anesthesiologist and I’ve seen so many broken bodies over the last 15 years. It’s not right. Why do I comment. We love our gun culture more than our children. Every American should have to stand in an OR while an 8 year olds body is being flayed open.

Detaining legal citizens illegally? Removing basic healthcare for millions? Shutting down children’s hospitals with loss of funding? No - none of that got calls from MAGA. Pedophile president seemed to do the trick. I’ll take it. Don’t get me wrong. Just haven’t decoded MAGA yet.

I really like this guy. Right person at the right moment. The cynical part of me guesses that he’s quoting MLK because he did not perform well among African Americans, but he’s doing what he needs to do. But by and large, he’s messaging in a way that will get normal people back in office.

I found a good summary of what happened. This occurred in May 2024, when Florida’s law had just been enacted. Lots of confusion and fear among healthcare providers. And yes, she is actually blaming “the left” for creating an environment which delayed proper care, and not the insane MAGA law…
