Thanks to the effort of Alotta Money fan earlybail, the Space Cakes collection has been tokenized and moved to Ethereum, where it can be safely preserved and enjoyed by fans for years to come.

It's fitting that cannabis is the subject for Alotta Money's first blockchain art, as he had been creating cannabis-themed artwork for decades.

The Space Cakes collection contains 35 pieces of space and cannabis-themed art, each one a finely crafted cartoon illustration!

In the same post, Alotta Money shared images from his 2001 cannabis-themed book, "Space Cakes."

That makes these works his earliest known blockchain-based art, created 2 years before he minted NFTs on ethereum!

Fast forward to September 5, 2017.

Under the pseudonym Olibith, Alotta Money announces his first purchase of crypto currency.

He makes this announcement on Steemit, a blockchain-based social media platform.

Phix, aka Alotta Money, was a life-long supporter of individual liberties.

In the 1990s he became the in-house artist for an organization that lobbied to legalize cannabis.

He co-authored and illustrated several books that educated people about cannabis.

Before using the name Olibith, he was more commonly known as Phix.

Those closest to him continued to use this nickname, as can be seen in this post from his friend Krato about the EthBoy art collaboration with Trevor Jones.

Prior to joining the crypto art scene, in the mid-2010s,
Alotta Money went by the name Olibith.

Olibith created machinimas: short, animated films based on the World of Warcraft video game.
