A greeting from a local Raven, as you haven't seen yours.
I was calling 'Boop boop' to it, & it was making the sound back, & I thought I'd recorded that but had obviously taken my finger off the button. Of course, it was probably calling its mate, & I know I'm as mad as a hatter, but it was fun. 😂

It was right by the path in front of the visitor centre at the reservoirs, and totally unphased by people walking by. :-)

I know geothermal is your thing but I often wonder why they never put turbines in the Barrage when they built it. The power of the water going through there at times would surely have generated a lot of electricity.
And now not harnessing the heat beneath their feet. So many lost opportunities!

The Cardiff Bay bird was there this morning very briefly, before doing a disappearing act. The tide was going out, and it seems to prefer the incoming and full tide, presumably as that's better for feeding off what's coming out from the Bay sluices.
