Babalon will be sticking around in a mascot role in this next season of art. These sketches (and some earlier explorations) represent the stylization I want to chase generally, but especially with her. Not saying they're perfect yet, but this is the general direction for her.

Commission for anon of their Darktide character. The only Warhammer I've ever played was Vermintide. Reminded me of L4D, which was cool, but was a bit overwhelming and the setting didn't click for me, at least from that impression. Apparently Darktide is even edgier though? I like edgy...

Mostly a diff take on Sparky. More anime-inspired. Idk what I am doing with these anymore tho or if I am even going to continue w/ these characters. I like drawing these two designs, but the "lore" got away from me. XD

Also, I wrote that on the way back from dentist, so I didn't have art on me, but this would be an example of soft rendering. Some shadows and highlights, but not too precious. Lines/fills could be cleaner than this tho.

Messing around. I have that thing where the desktop background changes everyday and I thought the wave today was very pretty. I might mix things up like this anyways since I'm pretty disillusioned with character "lore" overall and I think I prefer this character more like a mascot or muse.

For what it's worth, here are a few of my artworks I am more fond of. I'm not saying I'm not proud of my OC artwork, but these are the ones that I think, "Hell yeah. I did that!" These feel more representative of my "self" whereas my OC artwork feels more preformative in some sense.
