3.000 deportations a day are more than a million deportations a year. And ICE is already not finding enough people and facing fierce resistance. We need to remind every republican voter, who has issues with ICE, that they voted for this to primary against their party.

It's not easy to gather lefties under one banner. We're too "smart" and will always argue, debate and eventually completely sidetrack. Sometimes the right has something one could even be jealous about: unquestioning focus and narrow-minded commitment to the cause.

I honestly believe that most of them are so naive, that they cannot imagine him to be on that list, because he proclaimed to make the files public. Thus he couldn't be on the list himself in their minds and they can only bend their logic so much before it completely falls apart.

Pazifismus ist ein wunderschönes Ideal, aber in diesen Zeiten scheint es mir leider so, daß man sich diesen Luxus nicht mehr leisten kann, beziehungsweise der Wille dazu bei unseren Nachbarn fehlt. Wehr- und Zivildienst hatten auch Vorteile für die Gesellschaft und ihren Zusammenhalt.

I recently moved and it seems to be the same way birds find my feeder again. At first pigeons find it and then the smaller birds. This time there are magpies in between.
