For Texta, it’s so early that lowering the barrier of entry seemed to make sense. But I agree that it might be interesting to test higher price points as well, to see how it impacts conversion.

This is a learning I’ve made myself on cirka.app. There it was better to remove the trial, and now I’m testing how it performs when locking the app completely before subscribing.

Charging the same price as a Figma seat seemed a bit steep 👀

Simply to give it a price I think is fair, and to enable as many as possible to get on board.

As the product evolves, I’ll probably adjust the price, but for now it’s more important to get a lot of users, than making a lot of money :)

I use an API for now.
You can get far with clever prompting, but eventually, self-hosting might be better 😊

This also makes a lot of sense on the design side. Ideas like atomic design makes it very difficult to understand the implications of deleting something.

Helms strongest selling point is that it actually works. As opposed to App Store Connect.

As a designer, I dont get why so many devs does not see the value in a meeting. I can present some ideas, trying to get a devs perspective, and there's no response.
