TTRPGs: I performed in @twistedspiregames.bsky.social's Sirens Oath at @tate.bsky.social Britain, sharing the science of coral reefs through mermaid vengeance 🧜🏾‍♂️ At @ukge.bsky.social, it was great to be on @womenofttrpg.bsky.social 's panel about trailblazing women in the industry 🎲

DOING MY BIT: This year, I became a trustee of @britsciassoc.bsky.social which has been phenomenal.

I also went back to @kingscollegelondon.bsky.social Students' Union to talk about my time as a student officer (VP Welfare and Community) and the importance of agitating for good! 💪🏾😁

LECTURES: I officially gave my first lectures earlier this month! Ask me anything about the embryonic and evolutionary origins of the ear 👂🏾

It's always a good day when you can introduce a room full of budding biologists to the gene, Shh... Also known as Sonic Hedgehog! 🦔💙

COMEDY: I neeearly won Master of Tasks at #CheltSciFest while dressed as a clown, headlined the comedy night at @britsciassoc.bsky.social #BSF25 to natter about ADHD, and went looking for the next gen of science comedians at the @mrc-lms.bsky.social with @drstevex.bsky.social 's Talent Factory

S&S: @scienceandsorcery.bsky.social had a barnstorming year, receiving funding from @prideinstem.bsky.social for online shows, delivering training at @big-stem-network.bsky.social, and heading to the @britsciassoc.bsky.social #BSF25 for a hearing adventure inspired by Liverpudlian music!

BOOKS: In Feb, All Brains Are Wonderful was named as one of the 40 best new children's books in 2025 by @nationalbooktokens.bsky.social 🥹

It was a real pleasure to provide scientific advice and proofreading, while working with @bsmallpublishing.bsky.social and author @thereaderteacher.bsky.social ❤️

TV: In May, I had my first TV shoot with Go Button media on Mysteries of Ancient Medicine. I'm ELATED to say that the show has been picked up by National Geographic! 🤩 Grateful to my agent, @pastpreservers.bsky.social ❤️
