At the last funeral, Marcy watched the coffin being lowered into the ground, surrounded by mourners. But then she noticed the FBI agent watching from under a tree. "Mr. Chambers." Marcy greeted him. "Ms. Martin." He answered back, eyes fixed on the funeral. She looked back at the mourners. Nobody paid them any mind. She turned back and asked, "What did you tell the families?" Chambers frowned. "Car crash. It was a pain in the ass to dress things up, but it was the only way to explain them all dying around the same time. We even had Ms. Jackson's car smashed up to help sell the story." "Will you ever tell them the truth?" He scoffed. "Please. Does the truth sound believable to you?" "Hell no." "Yeah. Only your coven, or whatever you call it, should know about The King in Yellow."

Review by chloe!!: I really think I Hate You, Please Suffer is already one of my favorite games of all time. I was expecting a lot of things going in, but really I wasn't prepared for how much I would fall in love with all of these characters. They really are all wonderful, this game is the perfect blend of charming and witty, and heartbreaking and painful. There are moments in this game that I am going to be thinking about for the rest of my life

Because the second half of Noel really does feel radically different, I'm writing up stuff for the first half.
He's also followed by his gang of Slug, Toad and Python who have more minor roles. Python has a bit of a working relationship with Caron, which makes sense seeing as they're the only actual adults in the line-up, while Slug and Toad do hijinks as minions often do. I will say that while they feel weak in the first half of Noel, they actually get proper development in Season 9 later on that really makes me appreciate them. You always gotta love a group of gooners that stand of business.

I spent the past month poking at a draft of my story since I finished with a draft of the game. I realize that it's actually been a year since I started working on this. I edited this a bunch, but it needs some more work...
A few months ago, the first Lethal Chamber was introduced to Las Vegas. It started in Canada with its Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) act, which provided assisted death to the terminally ill. In 2027, after years of debate, the bill was expanded to the mentally ill. The system then expanded to other marginalized groups in society; it was easier than setting up social safety nets. America - being America - didn't want to play second fiddle. In a bipartisan plan in response to the country's growing issues, America embraced assisted death through a new institution: Lethal Chambers. The average person could go in for free, but for a little fee, they could go out in a specific painless way or buy an opportunity to fulfill some last wishes. Construction of the Lethal Chamber in Las Vegas was caught up in the red tape of the tourism department and whether foreign tourists could use them. But after a group suicide into a drained part of Lake Mead, things were expedited. Of course, the Chamber was built away from the Strip since it's bad for tourism. Alex did not have the money for the painless option. As far as he could do, one last good local meal was his final gift. He at least wondered if the Lethal Chamber would let him listen to his music as the medical provider prepared to shoot him in the head as his free option.
