Activists greeted travellers at the entrances in protest of private jets, airport expansion and air pollution. Children near CPH airport have higher rates of asthma and other respiratory illnesses. This isn't just a climate issue; it's a public health crisis.

Together with XR Denmark, we again blocked the road in front of Kastrup yesterday, to demand Copenhagen Airports ban private jets. Our home is burning, luxury emissions must stop. #BanPrivateJets #StayGrounded 1/n

The 3 scientists have been arrested and are now at the police station. The private jet they were blocking belongs to North Flying A/S - a company that says on instagram they provide private flying for "family and friends". They sell the destruction of our planet as a fun family weekend activity. 7/n
